Algos Preclinical Services, a global contract research organization (CRO) specializing in in vivo pain research, engaged MVP to create a Blackberry® mobile pain reference application. Now Pharmaceutical industry researchers can quickly and easily consult their mobile devices to drill down from Pain Classifications, (e.g., Neuropathic) to Models (e.g., CCI-Bennett), and from Behavioral Endpoints (e.g., Mechanical Allodynia-von Frey) to Compounds Tested (e.g., Gabapentin, Morphine).
In the future, Algos’ customers will also be able to check the status of their research projects, i.e. “ahead of,” “behind” or “on schedule.” . Both new and unique this application in keeping with Algos’ namesake, the Greek god of pain and suffering, reinforces the company’s commitment to its MVP-derived brand value—“Legendary Service.”
